School starts Monday, August 9, 2010 (sorry, but it's not on the calendar lol)
Monday, Sept 6, 2010 - LABOR DAY - Most all federal and state offices, banks and schools will be closed.
Richton PTO meeting on Sept. 14th at 6:30 at the high school. All parents and teachers of K- 12th graders are asked to attend.

Don't forget - Thanksgiving is just around the corner. The children will be out of school and lots of goodies to eat! Everyone have a wonderful and safe holiday.

Runnelstown School will host "Meet the Tigers" on Thursday, August 25th at 6:00 p.m.
Runnelstown School will have Open House on Monday, August 22nd beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Mississippi?s 4th Annual Building Partnerships?..Working Together Special Education Conference will be March 5-6, 2012. This conference is for parents and professionals! It will be held at the Jackson Convention Center 105 East Pascagoula Street Jackson, MS.

Fuel up to play 60 is an in-school nutrition and physical activity program supported by The National Dairy Council and The National Football League. Fuel up to Play 60 is now in more than 71,000 schools across the country.
The long-term goal of fuel up to play 60 is to engage and inspire youth to take control of their health and wellness. Healthy eating and physical activity can help their learning and academic achievement, which is important now and in the future.
The Nation Dairy Council and The National Football League in cooperation with The US Department of Agriculture want to empower students to make smart choices through eating healthier and getting more physical activity.
We want to encourage everyone at school to log in to www.fueluptoplay60.com and be a team member. Students can earn prizes and earn rewards and recognition for their efforts, so log in today and let?s get started.
